John is a freelance composer based in the beautiful countryside of West Berkshire in England
creating original music for games, film, audio drama, and theatre.
He works closely with developers, directors and producers to deliver music that fits the story,
the medium, and the production — from early concepts through to final delivery.
Experienced in adaptive music, loop‑based systems, and collaborative game development workflows.
He has a Master's Degree in Professional Media Composition from the University of Chichester
in the UK, is daddy to two dogs, loves board games, and relaxes by building Lego models.

Burstworks was written for the Global Game Jam 2025 on the theme of "bubble". I provided all the audio assets and music.
Fix Your Heart was written for the "FIX YOUR HEARTS OR DIE - A David Lynch Game Jam" as a homage to the late David Lynch. I provided the menu and level music.
Short Films and Projects
"GopherChat" is a comedy short by Oli Seaman of Andelain Films written as a homage to Groundhog Day.
"It Was Called Film" by Charles Elsden is a sentimental record of the projection room at South Hill Park Arts Centre in Bracknell before going digital in 2013.
"Wot Nots of My Dad" from Alternate Shadows Theatre Group was the first-place winner in the Kent Drama Association's Radio Play Festival.
"Guilty" from Alternate Shadows Theatre Group was their entry into the 2024 UK International Audio Drama Festival.
